Lexus 2010 HS 250h Voluntary Safety Recall

Here at Lexus, our top priority is you: your safety, your confidence in our products and providing you with the highest level of service.

For this reason, on February 8, 2010, Lexus announced a voluntary safety recall of our 2010 HS 250h vehicles. Some owners have reported experiencing inconsistent brake feel during slow and steady application of the brakes on rough or slick road surfaces when the anti-lock brake system (ABS) is activated in an effort to maintain tire traction.

While this issue is rare, should you experience it with your vehicle, press firmly on the brake pedal to stop the vehicle safely. The vehicle is still safe to drive because pressing firmly on the brake pedal will stop the vehicle.

For over 20 years, Lexus and all of its dealership associates have been committed to exceeding customers' expectations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this creates, and we promise to take care of every customer.

Below you'll find answers to some of your questions.
