For this reason, on February 8, 2010, Lexus announced a voluntary safety recall of our 2010 HS 250h vehicles. Some owners have reported experiencing inconsistent brake feel during slow and steady application of the brakes on rough or slick road surfaces when the anti-lock brake system (ABS) is activated in an effort to maintain tire traction.
While this issue is rare, should you experience it with your vehicle, press firmly on the brake pedal to stop the vehicle safely. The vehicle is still safe to drive because pressing firmly on the brake pedal will stop the vehicle.
